Membership Committee

The Membership Committee works to attract and involve a high level of real estate professionals who will complement the overall goals of CREW – both Indianapolis and CREW Network – enhancing the organization’s visibility and credibility within the business community, and fully integrate all our membership in achieving our goals. Committee members recruit potential members, welcome new members and help get them involved with CREW to maximize membership benefits.

Events Committee

The Events Committee develops and carries out the chapter’s events in accordance with goals and guidelines approved by the Board of Directors. The events are planned to promote professional development and allow membership the opportunity to grow their professional network. The events are a key source of exposure and credibility for the organization, and provide a substantial portion of IndyCREW’s annual revenue, therefore a variety of programs should be established each year that will increase both member and guest attendance. Committee members are tasked with brainstorming event ideas, reaching out to speakers and venues, and coordinating the details of each event.

UCREW Committee

UCREW is a university outreach program designed to introduce students to opportunities in commercial real estate. UCREW brings seasoned professionals together with university students to educate students about career options and to provide valuable networking experience. The committee works with local universities to organize career nights at the schools, where CREW leaders can discuss careers in commercial real estate with students.

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for soliciting funds from potential sponsors starting in the 4th quarter of the year with the intent of having all sponsors committed by December 15th. The committee also reviews the sponsorship levels and sponsor benefits annually, to ensure that sponsors are receiving measurable benefits for their sponsorship dollars.  Committee members are encouraged to remain engaged with sponsors throughout the year to ensure they are satisfied and would like to continue partnering with CREW.

CREW Network Committee

The CREW Network Committee’s primary function is to promote the resources available at the CREW Network level to the local chapter. Therefore a strong understanding of CREW Network and its website is advisable so that committee members are well informed and can articulate the benefits of the global organization on an on-going basis. The committee plans and hosts the CREW Network Board Representative visit, which is scheduled on an every-other-year basis, as well as the CREW Network Foundation fundraising event and the end-of-the-year members-only celebration.

Golf Committee

The Golf Committee plans and carries out the annual golf outing with the guidelines as established by the Board of Directors. The golf outing provides an opportunity to not only encourage IndyCREW members to play and/or try their hand at golf, but it also provides an excellent networking opportunity. Committee members solicit golf sponsorships and prizes, as well as organize the details of one of IndyCREW's largest events of the year.

Women in Leadership Conference Committee

The Women in Leadership Conference Committee is charged with the planning of an annual Women’s Leadership Conference following the guidelines as established by the Board of Directors. The conference will provide an opportunity for members and guests to experience speakers in various leadership roles and to network with a wide variety of people. Committee members develop the conference agenda, speakers, and coordinate the day.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee provides communications to IndyCREW members and to the local commercial real estate community. The Committee publicizes IndyCREW events, showcases the achievements of its members and communicates the mission of IndyCREW to its members. The committee enhances the image and credibility of IndyCREW through representation at community events, trade shows, social media, newsletters, email blasts and website features.

Mentor Match Committee

INDYCREW’s Mentor Match Committee matches established IndyCREW members with those new IndyCREW members or those members new to the industry or in transition. The committee provides educational and networking opportunities to propel younger professionals in their careers and to maximize their membership in IndyCREW. The mentor-protégé pair work towards achieving professional fulfillment and progress towards personally crafted objectives from April through December.

The committee is composed of four (4) subcommittees covering On-Boarding; Matching; Education/Connections and Communications with a Committee Chair and Co-Chair.
